  • The microphone activates only when you explicitly interact with the voice controls (e.g., press-and-hold).
  • Audio is streamed to our voice-processing systems to enable speech recognition and AI-generated replies.
  • Our voice-processing systems may retain audio recordings, and ChatPal may access those recordings for service functionality, diagnostics, and quality purposes.

2.4 AI Model Training

ChatPal does not use your audio or transcripts to train AI models.

2.5 Conversation Transcripts and Learning Data

ChatPal stores:

  • Text transcripts of your conversations
  • Session activity (e.g., words practiced, session length, difficulty progression)

These are used to:

  • Provide and improve your learning experience
  • Personalize lesson difficulty and content
  • Maintain session history and progress insights

Transcripts may include personal details that you choose to share during conversations.
